How do I scan a QR code?
- iOS users may try the following options:
  - If using an iOS 11 of later device, simply open the camera app, point the camera at the QR code, and tap to focus.
  - For older versions of iOS, download a QR reader from the Apple store.
- Android users may try the following options:
  - If using a 'Google Pixel' device or you have the 'Google Assistant' or 'Google Lens' app downloaded, you may use the native camera app. To do so, switch the camera to 'Lens' mode and point the camera at the QR code.
  - If using a 'Samsung' device the 'Bixby Vision' app may be used as a QR code reader.
  - If the above methods do not work, download a QR code reader, such as 'QR Code Reader' from the Google Play Store.
Why does it say my validation code is invalid?
The validation code being entered does not match the serial number of your product. Here are a few tips we have found helpful for solving this problem:
- Make sure you are entering the 5-character authenticity code found directly beneath the serial number, both of which are located beneath the QR code on your product's vmp.mobi label.
- Check to be sure the characters in your validation code are entered exactly as they appear on the tag or label. A letter “O” may be a number zero (0) instead, and vice versa, a letter "G" may be a number six (6), a letter "I" may be the number one (1), etc.
I got an error when trying to share my location.
- Make sure your QR code scanner app opens the site in Chrome or Safari, not within the app. QR scanner apps may not have the ability to share your location.
- Ensure your browser's geolocation ability is enabled. This process is different for each type of device, so you may have to search the web for how to do this on your particular device. Below are support links on this topic for some of the more popular browsers/devices.
- Clear your browser’s history & cookies for www.vmp.mobi and www.verifymyproduct.com.
